Basic Purpose of Position: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties: Primary or Major
Responsibilities: Drafts and implements procedures and work instructions relating to the Quality effort including inspection plans and acceptance tests for Incoming Inspection. Reviews and approves Quality System documentation such as Operations Procedures, Work Instructions, Manufacturing Procedures, drawings and specifications. Works with Manufacturing Engineers in developing such documentation as assembly validation plans/protocols, FMEAs and Quality Plans. Participates with Materials Program Manager (MPM) in initial supplier approval and the continuing evaluation of supplier performance. Manages third party certification (UL, CSA) compliance including implementation coordination with the customer, performance of internal audits for compliance and hosting third party auditors. Communicates with customers and suppliers on issues related to product quality and performance. Contributes to NPR team activities including third party continuing certification coordination, supplier surveys, documentation initiation, review and approval and team meeting participation. Assists the Manager of QA/RA in coordination of third party audits such as FDA, ISO, and CMDCAS. Plans, coordinates and executes internal audits. Manages and coordinates the Complaint, Corrective/Preventive Action and Material Review Board processes. Introduces and utilizes appropriate quality tools to evaluate product and process performance such as, Pareto Charts, FMEAs, and statistical process control and process maps. Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. All other duties as assigned. Safety: Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized. Minimum Requirements: Education/
Experience: Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, minimum 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write technical documents. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, customers and suppliers. Math Ability: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Manufacturing software, Database software Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
