Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic

The Craftsman-in-Training Program is designed to train, appraise, and develop craftsmen as they progress through various stages of an occupation to become fully competent journeymen. The standard length of time in the program for each trainee is two (2) years. The 2-year program consists of four levels, with 6 months at each level. At the Full Performance Level:
Electronic Equipment Craftsman Employee will maintain, modify, install, repair, program, and test a variety of simple to complex electronic equipment used in these categories:
communication, control process computers, and supervisory control systems. Perform database modification. Develop software test routines for verifying communication settings and operational specifications. Perform work on communications equipment that is used for power system operation and control, relaying, data logging, and indication. You must have journeyman-level ability in a related craft. You must meet all the qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement. To qualify for this position, you must 1) Have some knowledge of this craft AND 2) Meet at least one of the following requirementsCompleted a 4-year apprentice program in a related craftEmployment as a Western journeyman in the craft occupations (i.e. in the WB pay plan)Hold, or have held, the journeyman level (i.e., a level achieved by at least 4 years of training) in a related craft Examples of related craft areas include:
Communications Technician (such as with SCADA or microwave in a military/utility/telecommunications setting) Protection Technician (for instance in a military/utility/telecommunications setting)ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS Your application and resume should demonstrate that you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).Do NOT provide a separate narrative written response. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
